While I have been remiss in updating this blog, it doesn't mean I haven't been watching movies! Over the weekend, my friend Mark and I watched:
- Sahara (1943) : A pretty solid war movie, with Bogie and a crew of misfits escaping the Nazis through the desert. While both of us agreed that
Maltin's rating of 3 1/2 stars was wildly overrated (maybe more like 2 1/2 starts), it was still pretty solid.
- The Limey is Steven Soderbergh's movie, and a really good one at that. Great visuals and sound, along with sterling performances, in this movie of mystery and vengance.
