What I'm doing

I picked up a few new DVDs recently at my local grocery store (!). They had a display full of DVDs in the $4-$9 price range, so I picked up:
  • High Fidelity [Info] [Rent] [Buy], a movie I liked alot when I watched it a year ago or so.
  • Muppet Treasuer Island [Info] [Rent] [Buy] : we've been on a bit of a pirate kick lately in our reading, and this looks like it fits right in. Our first viewing was a success, and I hope to report on it soon.
  • Outfoxed [Info] [Rent] [Buy] : A documentary on how the "Fair And Balanced" Fox "News" Channel, isn't really.
You can read my review of High Fidelity here. Suffice to say, I really like this movie.

I still have the two Ingmar Bergman movies from Netflix, which are Wild Strawberries [Info] [Rent] [Buy] and Fanny & Alexander [Info] [Rent] . I just haven't had the energy to read subtitles on these serious movies! Not sure how I ended up with two Bergman moives - yikes!

I also recently received Chungking Express [Info] [Rent] [Buy], yet another subtitled movie, albeit probably much less cerebral. I need to make my 3 movies that I get from Netflix have a little more variety.

Oh, and it looks like I forgot to let you know that I posted my positive review of Les Diaboliques. It can be found here.
