100 Notable Books of the Year - 2007 - New York Times

Unfortunately, I haven't read any of these. But I have read three or four (all non-fiction) from the 2006 list (see the links on the left). And just what I need - yet another list of book I just gotta read :-(

it looks like you really only need to read one:http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/11/books/review/McInerney-t.html;-)

Any best-of list that includes The Yiddish Policemen's Union isn't worth bothering with.  It was, by far, the most disappointing book I read this year.

I was looking at this earlier today and just thought it was a strange list.  There's not too much that even looks that interesting....

I have to admit that I didn't read the list too closely - just a quick scan to see if I'd read any of them. I really really really don't need any more books to read. And yeah, zosa, I too noticed the book about talking about books you haven't read - to bad it's a novel about a librarian!

Well, I've only read two in that list, both from fiction -- the last Harry Potter, and Murakami's After Dark, both of which were good :)

From a quick scan, it looks like I've only read a few of these.
